Triumph to Colbert: "After I get a good review, I send one critic a nice photo from my personal stash of dog porn"

"The jokes that you're doing are pretty lowbrow, you have to admit," suggests Colbert

In the pantheon of awkward corporate-talk show integration, nothing comes close to Fox & Friends' interview with an M&M--not even Triumph the Insult Comic Dog's appearance on last night's "Late Show."

Fresh off his appearance last week on "The Nightly Show," Triumph joined host Stephen Colbert to promote his new Hulu/FOD-co-produced "Election Special."

Asked if his Hulu show (did he mention it's on Hulu?) is getting "great reviews" based on merit or bribery, Triumph said, "After I get a good review, I send one critic a nice photo from my personal stash of dog porn." He's not joking:

And that's just a sampling. "I do this to motivate other critics to write reviews, that's all," Triumph added. "These are rewards."

Despite Triumph's attempts to be a "real journalist" with his primary coverage, Colbert said, "The jokes that you're doing are pretty lowbrow, you have to admit."

"Just think," Triumph shot back. "Millions of TVs are tuned into the show right now because the whole nation fell asleep during 'Elementary.'"
