"This is the party of Lincoln": Watch Speaker Paul Ryan call out Trump on KKK connection

He never used the Republican frontrunner's name

Speaker Paul Ryan called Donald Trump out on his connection to the KKK after the Republican frontrunner did not immediately reject funding from David Duke and the Klu Klux Klan.

“If a person wants to be the nominee of the Republican Party, there can be no evasion and no games: They must reject any group or cause that is built on bigotry,” Ryan, who was visibly angry, said.

This is the second time that Speaker Paul Ryan grabbed a mic to rebuke Donald Trump for his apparent bigotry. He also spoke out on Trump's proposal to ban all Muslims from the country last year.

“Not only are there many Muslims serving in our armed forces dying for this country, there are Muslims serving right here in the House working every day to uphold the Constitution," he said.
