Thursday saw the release of the teaser for the forthcoming “Star Wars” iteration, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

The film, in theaters December, will be the first of two standalone origin stories in the “Star Wars Anthology” series.
“Rogue One” stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso.
If Twitter is any indication, Jones’s top-billing has irked a minority of men’s rights activists, who are having a real tough time processing a female lead:
The protagonist of #RogueOne is what Disney execs think the young female audience wants. That's a whole new level of insulting.

But such criticism is few and far between. Far more users were excited than outraged. After spending some time scouring the #RogueOne live feed, I’m with this guy:
#RogueOne is it me or are there more people outraged over people outraged over a female lead than those outraged over a female lead?

More constructive are the beautiful idiots running with the misspelled #RougeOne:
today was the wrong day to launch my #rougeone company, the only rouge you'll ever need
