Trevor Noah soils Ted Cruz, calls him "the plunger of the Republican party"

"No one wants to use the plunger, but they have to to get the turd out of the way"

"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah last night took aim at the GOP's less-worse option, Ted Cruz, who's been fittingly received by New Yorkers — y'know, the ones with the skewed value system — this week ahead of the state's April 19 primary.

Noah called Cruz "the plunger of the Republican party," explaining, "No one wants to use the plunger, but they have to to get the turd out of the way."

During a recent campaign visit to the Bronx, where over one third of the population is foreign born, Cruz was told to, "get out of the Bronx," and, "You're not welcome here."

"I feel like Ted Cruz doesn't know what New York values are because he's never been welcomed in New York," Noah theorized. "He's just trying to trick us into telling what the values of New York are."
