Donald Rumsfeld, secretary of defense under George W. Bush, is apparently enjoying an active retirement instigating Twitter wars:
Ted Cruz is the only candidate running with a simple flat-tax plan. Rumsfeld’s pessimism then indicates he either doesn’t believe Cruz will win the presidency or, if he does, he won’t be able to effectively implement a flat tax. While bad news for the GOP establishment, it’s another step in the right direction for the hot, steaming Trump train.
Rumsfeld is most infamous for architecting two wars (Afghanistan and Iraq) and reportedly authorizing human rights violations at Abu Ghraib during his tenure as Defense Secretary.
Between his criminal warmongering and estimated $12.5 to $60.5 million net worth, I guess some people found reason not to sympathize with Rumsfeld:
