What do Elizabeth Warren, Bill Maher, and Rosie O’Donnell have in common? They’ve all had prolonged public feuds with presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
A Trump potshot is sort of the gray area between achievement award and participation trophy. Most people, but not everyone, gets one at some point.
Real winners get an unsolicited mention. Conservative pundit and neocon icon Bill Kristol is not a winner.
He’s tweeted at or about Trump almost constantly since the bronzed billionaire effectively secured the GOP nomination. Such undivided negative attention usually merits a Twitter response from @realDonaldTrump. Not for Losin’ Bill Kristol.
Whether intentionally or not, Trump refuses to validate Kristol’s tirade. It’s gotten to the point now where it’s so sad that it’s funny.
Hair-splitting update: Trump @-messaged Kristol over the weekend, but continued ignoring Kristol’s Twitter offensive:
Why do the networks continue to put dopey @BillKristol on panels when he has called every single shot about me wrong for 2 yrs?

At any rate, please enjoy:
If you're for Trump you functionally are for a man unfit to be president, & for the degradation of Am. conservatism. https://t.co/xqvrtLvBO9

Paul Ryan: "Conservatives want to know if Trump shares our values."
Actually, no. We know he doesn't.— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) May 5, 2016
Trump really thinks, Hey, I've gone bankrupt 4 times & am doing fine, so what's the problem with a US default…?https://t.co/XxuQdtIRL3

Have you noticed how many of those falling in line behind Trump adopt his bullying tone and vitriolic personal attacks? #TrumpismCorrupts

Trump "negotiating" with DC Republicans is like an experienced and unscrupulous card shark playing poker with babes in the woods.

Enjoying tweets re Katrina Pierson being Trump etc.
But to be earnest for a sec: Isn't it clear Trump is a pathological narcissist and liar?— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) May 13, 2016
Trumpism corrupts, demeans, & dishonors those who get sucked into its orbit. Please, Paul Ryan, resist! Sometimes party unity asks too much.

All joking about "John Miller" & "John Barron" & Trump's lying about it aside, it is genuinely scary that this man could be C-in-Chief.

Come to think of it…will @realDonaldTrump insist his VP sign a prenup?

Trumpism tends to corrupt, and the desire for a position in a Trump Administration corrupts absolutely. https://t.co/KPUsaIbjTa

Trump suggests Bill Clinton a rapist. But was thrilled to have him at his wedding. What does that say about Trump? pic.twitter.com/lp30sMUFJa

Real question: Does @realDonaldTrump know this is ridiculously false or not? Second question: Which would be worse? https://t.co/mo8TPAq4Ui

To GOP elites:
You were given the choice between defeat and dishonor. You chose dishonor and you will have defeat.https://t.co/7VAq3TIFmW— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) May 20, 2016

.@realDonaldTrump Let me hasten to admit: I underestimated your skills as a demagogue and the credulity of some of the American public.
