"Late Night" host Seth Meyers on Tuesday took "A Closer Look" at GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's recent attempts to court minority voters.

"Being an old school birther hasn't stopped Trump from trying to reach out to African-American voters," Meyers said. "Trump has also sought to make inroads with Latino voters by tweaking his hardline position on immigration. Trump is basically trying to have it both ways."

"Meanwhile, Trump's campaign still hasn't answered the question of whether there will be mass deportations," he continued. "The reason Trump's immigration policy sounds so incoherent, is that there is no policy. Trump's immigration rhetoric isn't about addressing the problem, it's about appealing to people's fear of cultural change."
