WATCH: President Obama reads mean tweets, takes swing at Donald Trump on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"

Obama gave a mic drop-worthy retort to Trump's claim he'd "go down as perhaps the worst president in ... history"

President Barack Obama appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's popular "Mean Tweets" segment, reading tweets from haters.

"Barack Obama dances like how his jeans look," the President read from one user's tweet, which referred to his photographed history of wearing "dad casual" denim. He responded: "You know, this jeans thing — this is so old. This is years ago, c'mon."

Another user asked Obama, "Bro, do you even lift?" To this, he responded, "Well, I lifted the ban on Cuban cigars. That's worth something."

One mean tweet that stood out — in part because it was the least creative of the set — was from the current Republican presidential nominee:

"Well, @realDonaldTrump," Obama responded, "at least I will go down as a president."

President Obama also spoke to Kimmel about why he's stumping for Hillary Clinton, and why he's opposing Donald Trump.
