For the past few years, neo-Nazis have viewed pop singer Taylor Swift as a “Aryan goddess” who supposedly embodies all the virtues that they desire in the ideal white woman.
That illusion came to a crashing end over the weekend, however, when Swift endorsed Tennessee Democrat Phil Bredesen for Senate — while also denouncing the politics of racism and homophobia.
Via the Daily Beast, this endorsement did not go over well with many of Swift’s one-time white supremacist fans, who angrily posted about Swift’s betrayal over the weekend on 4Chan’s /pol/ message board.
“WE MUST SAVE HER!” wrote one distraught white nationalist Swift fan upon hearing the news.
However, most 4Chan posters dismissed Swift as a lost cause, and said she would pay for not becoming a full-throated backer of white nationalism.
“Yeah I guess she didn’t learn a god damn thing,” wrote another poster. “Like most brainwashed White liberal women, but there are good White women who don’t stab their own kind in the back. Swift will get her just reward from her dindu friends, only a matter of time.”
“Stupid b*tch doesn’t respect the Trump curse,” wrote another. “She has to learn the hard way.”
One particularly bitter 4Chan user even went so far as to predict that Swift would “die of a stroke” this month as divine retribution for her betrayal.
