Scarlett Johansson says she's not afraid of camera phones

Published July 20, 2006 2:30AM (EDT)

This week in Conversations, Scarlett Johansson explains why Woody Allen, who directed and stars opposite her in his latest comedy, "Scoop," has been saying such flattering things about her to the press: "I've been paying him large amounts of money under the table to compliment me, and so far, it's working." In New York last week to promote the film, which also stars Hugh Jackman and "Deadwood" star Ian McShane, Johansson, 21, also dished on her off-screen banter with Allen, her own dream of directing and the stalkerazzi fans who chase her with their camera phones. And what of Hollywood's penchant for casting her opposite older men? Hear what she has to say about that and other burning issues by listening in, below.
