The Franken factor

Liberal talk radio is about to hit the airwaves in four markets when Air America Radio goes live on March 31. The stars of the 24-hour-talk network will be comedians Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo. The name of Franken's show, naturally, will be "The O'Franken Factor," a dig at his Fox News nemesis Bill O'Reilly.

"Bill, I want you to sue us," Franken said, referring to a case last year in which a judge threw out Fox's request to ban Franken from using the slogan "Fair and Balanced" on the cover of his book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right." The ruling earned tons of publicity for Franken, who said Wednesday: "We're going to be baiting (O'Reilly) as much as we can."
