Fox News host mocks Obama's tears over Sandy Hook: "Check the podium for a raw onion"

Today's "Outnumbered" sarcastic reactions to Obama's gun control announcement also invoked Chicago, ISIS and more

Fox News’ “Outnumbered” panel took ‘round-the-table potshots today at Obama following the President’s announcement that he would take executive action on gun control. Of particular interest to the hosts--and media alike--was Obama's tearful tribute to the victims of gun violence in Chicago, his home city.

"I feel bad about those kids in Connecticut," said co-host Melissa Francis, referring to the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown. "But it’s only about this that he gets so upset about. And never about terror!"

Andrea Tantaros joked that she "would check the podium for like a raw onion or some No More Tears," adding, "We are in awards season."

"Go to your hometown of Chicago," chimed Meghan McCain, "instead of talking about God-fearing Americans who just want to protect themselves when ISIS is coming to their hometown and shootin' up 14 people."

"It feels like bad political theater," McCain concluded.
