As midterm elections inch closer and illegal border crossings have surged, Laura Ingraham ramped up anti-immigrant hysteria this week on her Fox News primetime show. Along with president President Donald Trump, she has levied fears and resentments associated with immigration in an attempt to galvanize voters to elect Republicans on Nov. 6.

Speaking to her viewers Tuesday during "The Ingraham Angle," the Fox News host said, "As frustrated as so many of us are with the Republicans and what they failed to do at the border, well the cause may be totally lost if the open-borders-Democrats take the House."

Ingraham went on to highlight Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren and incoming Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who would abolish ICE and replace it with a more humane system and department. "Warren and Ocasio-Cortez are not alone, of course. There are a lot more like them that believe the same thing," Imgraham warned. "Again, the choice could not be clearer for the midterm voters. There's so much on the line for America."

"Will Trump get the funding for his wall? Will the mass migration from other poor countries in Central America be stopped at all, ever? Will travesties such as birth-right citizenship finally be ended?" she continued. "Of this, my friends you can be sure, your views on immigration will have zero impact and zero influence on a House dominated by Democrats who want to replace you, the American voters, with newly-amnestied citizens and an ever increasing number of chain migrants."

Ingraham's hysteria continued Thursday, as a caravan of Central American migrants, mostly from Honduras, made it way north. She joins Trump, who continues to lash out on Twitter about it, as well as about immigration in general, attempting to blame Democrats for a spike in border crossings, even though Republicans have controlled both chambers of Congress in addition to the White House since his inauguration.

According to a new Washington Post report, Border Patrol agents arrested 16,658 families last month, along the U.S. border, the highest one-month total on record. The high arrest rate coincides with an overall increase in the number of migrant families crossing the border.

"No American should suffer or be brutalized in order to fulfill the Democrats' fantasy of a borderless society," Ingraham said on Thursday's episode. "No American worker should see his or her wages go down, because there's an illegal immigrant who just arrived in the U.S. who is willing to work for 40 percent less."

"In Donald Trump, we finally have a president who wants to tackle this problem – not just pass it on to the next president the way Obama did," she continued. "Don't buy for a moment what the left is selling you. Democrats are the ones using this and that, stoking false fear among the Latinos to try to flip Congress. Again, no ideas – just more emotional manipulation."

Ingraham blamed California's "rampant homelessness, filthy streets, ballooning welfare programs" on immigration and its sanctuary status. But "the president is standing up for you," she added, and returning to the midterms again, Ingraham warned that, if the Democrats take the House, this will "ensure that this caravan of 4,000 eventually becomes a flow of four million — four million plus — before we know it. This cannot happen."
