President Donald Trump justified a bomb delivered to CNN’s New York City headquarters in a new tweet complaining about “fake news.”
The president gave a subdued denunciation Wednesday night of political violence after bombs were mailed to the cable news network and several high-profile Democrats — but he reversed course the following morning on Twitter.
“A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News,” Trump tweeted. “It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!”
