Rebecca Burns is an investigative reporter whose work has appeared in the Baffler, the Chicago Reader, ProPublica Illinois and the Intercept. She is coauthor of the book "Fat Cat: The Steve Mnuchin Story." Her coverage of Wall Street’s role in the post-crash housing market won the Association of Alternative Newsmedia’s first-place prize for investigative reporting in 2017. She is a dedicated Chicagoan and contributing editor at In These Times magazine.
