According to a lively roundup delivered by HuffPost, supporters of President Donald Trump are deeply aggrieved and notably butthurt after luxury glossy Vanity Fair did not include First Lady Melania Trump in this year's edition of its annual "International Best-Dressed List".

This year's list — a collection of stylish men and women from the worlds of celebrity, politics, the arts and society — includes such notables as Justin Trudeau, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Donald Glover, Queen Letizia of Spain, LeBron James, Solange Knowles, Jaden Smith and many others. Notably, former White House residents Barack and Michelle Obama appear on what may be one of the more diverse lists in recent years. It is not the first appearance for either member of the former first couple.

But, as mentioned, the current first lady of the United States does not have a berth in Vanity Fair's slideshow, nor does any other member of the extended Trump family, including favored first daughter Ivanka Trump. Sure, all figures in the Trump brood — papa Donald included — spend 'ugefantastic, the best amounts on their clothing. But, as those in fashion know, money doesn't buy fine, notable style (it just helps a lot).

Now, the first lady is, by any measure, a good dresser — but she's no Miuccia Prada, no Anh Duong. It's fair and perhaps right that Mrs. Trump missed the list. That said, it's also fair and perhaps right that we point out that Vanity Fair is a particularly anti-Trump title and its outgoing editor-in-chief, Graydon Carter, has a longstanding beef with the current president. Melania Trump probably doesn't belong on this list based solely on the merits of her case. But even if she did, it was probably never going to happen.

Also, like, who even cares?

Well, as HuffPost notes, certain Trump fans care . . . a lot. Here's just a few of the sad, sad Trumpsters — Dinesh D'Souza included — crying foul on the internets:

Sad. But, hey, deplorables, there's always next year (provided the first lady figures out where and when to wear high heels).
