Salon Talks: Franz Ferdinand

The Scottish indie rock band, known for their hit "Take Me Out," reveal their ability to make "dance-able" music on "Salon Talks." The band's five-year hiatus finally ends with their new album "Always Ascending," out on February 8. Lead vocalist Alex Kupranos and bassist Bob Hardy joined Salon's Amanda Marcotte to reflect on the sound and tone of their new album. Kupranos explained that the new album presents both a futuristic and naturalistic sound simultaneously.
