"I get criticized on the right, I get criticized on the left, but the one thing we're doing is we're not trying to make political decisions," Senator Jones told Salon's executive editor Andrew O'Hehir on "Salon Talks."

To hear Jones discuss his book "Bending Toward Justice: The Birmingham Church Bombing that Changed the Course of Civil Rights." which explores his role in prosecuting two of the four former KKK members that carried out the bombing, watch the senator's full Salon Talks episode.
