Michael Oher on what “The Blind Side” gets wrong about him
Former Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman and NFL champion Michael Oher looks back on the Oscar-nominated film that was inspired by his life, "The Blind Side." He tells Salon about his complicated relationship with the Tuohy family, which is also at the center of a lawsuit brought forth by Oher after the filming of this interview. "The Blind Side" "didn't show the work ethic that I put in," he told Salon's D. Watkins. "You have to understand…when I moved in with the family, I was an All-American football player already."
