Joshua Safran, the showrunner and creator of "Gossip Girl" on HBO Max, describes the process of recreating the reboot series on "Salon Talks." What sets the show, which is set on New York's Upper East Side, apart from its peer shows is it's unique and deep look at class, Safran says. "It's class warfare with one dictator," he said.
