Patricia Field is the stylist responsible for the clothing and fashion on "Sex and the City," "Emily In Paris," "Ugly Betty" and "The Devil Wears Prada." While discussing her memoir "Pat in the City," the 82-year-old tells Salon where she gets her inspiration from and what disappoints her about today's fashion. She also spills on why she loved working with Sarah Jessica Parker and why men are hard to dress. "Men are, in my opinion, in a box," she said. "It's a polo shirt or it's a shirt and tie, but it's about a choice of four things. It's almost like a uniform." Field explains how she tries to push them out of the obvious choices.
