Kelly McClure is Salon’s Senior Culture Editor, leading coverage of TV, film, music, books and culture trends from a unique and thoughtful angle. For handfuls of decades, she has written and edited for a variety of outlets and was, famously, Vice’s first official Music Editor when Williamsburg still had “Girls” billboards up. She is the author of one sad book called “Something Is Always Happening Somewhere” and is known to be creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky. Follow her on Bluesky.
